Sharing the message of Jesus Christ in such a way that all that hear, both young and old, will be able to understand and receive Him as their personal Savior. .
When you come for a visit we will greet you as though you have always been here,. You will hear the message of Jesus from the Praise Ministry Choir along with our organist Glenda and pianist Chris as well as occasional musical specials. Then our Pastor, Pat Helton, will open the Word of God and bring a message empowered by the Spirit.
Our manner is always friendly and informal. If you like to dress up for church then please feel comfortable to do that. However, if you and more of a casual dresser, you will find many here the same. We believe that God is far more concerned with our presence than our appearance. If you are comfortable then so are we.
Accepting and knowing Jesus is possibly the most personal thing in your life. It has nothing to do with how old or young you are. It has nothing to do with where you are from or where you are going. It has nothing to do with your family or if they or you are rich or poor. If has nothing to do with what you have done or perhaps not yet done. It has nothing to do with your successes or failures. It has nothing to do with the color of your skin or the language that you were raised to speak. All it has to do is to realize that Jesus has set a standard of right and wrong. When we select the wrong we have, as it is called, sinned. Our sins present us with a burden and we need forgiveness to remove the burden of our sins but we are not capable of doing that ourselves. God knew our condition and sent His own Son, Jesus to be born just like you and me. However, Jesus' life has one great difference from your life or mine. Jesus never sinned. You probably want to know how He was able to do this and I really can't answer that except to believe that it is true. Jesus then was willing to give His life all of us including you. His complete innocence from sin allowed Him to pay the price for your sins, mine, and everyone else. One the third day after He died He rose from the dead and in that defeated death it self. Does accepting Jesus mean that you will live forever? Well, not exactly. All of us will one day die or at least our bodies will but the part that is your spirit or your soul will live on and with Jesus in your heart you will spend eternity or forever, in heaven with Him. All you need do is to realize and admit you have made done things you should not have or to say it another way, you have sinned. When you do that then ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and enter your heart. He will and then you will know a whole new and wonderful life. All you must do is ask Him.
It is our desire to share the message of Jesus Christ to all that will listen. Come visit and hear that message in word, song, and fellowship.
